Bristol
Families & Friends was set up in January 1997 and exists
to provide support to people with a family member or friend
who is lesbian, gay or bisexual. The group currently meets
as a support group once a month in central Bristol. Meetings
are held on the third Wednesday of each month between 7-9pm
at a drop-in centre.
The
group is affiliated to the national Families & Friends
of Lesbians and Gays (FFLAG) organisation which offers
telephone helplines and support groups all across the country.
There are now many similar groups across the world.
